He will change his defense to funnel everything to Noel and the kid will get to showcase what he does best- block shots... At SU he would spend his first year trying to figure out how to anchor the zone...

Win some (Coleman), lose some... Coleman, Xmas, Keita, fair, Southerland give the orange plenty of options/combos in the front court... Depth in the backcourt is a concern... Cooney has to be ready to contribute on both ends - not a big follower of recruiting but wondering if there are any JUCO guards out there that JB is pursuing as insurance... A slip here or there and it gets dicey in the backcourt quick...

If Calipari leaves it does change my comment... That's true... But I don't think you can argue against UK if his goal is to play one year and then get drafted in the highest spot possible... JB and JT3 have systems that don't come easily to frosh big men... Now if he was a wing player I would say take cuse....

If he is really thinking one and done then his best bet is UK... Gtown plays a system that takes most big men at least 3 years to learn... And the learning curve for shot blocking frosh for the zone is very steep... see Fab Melo... Calipari will use him as a help defender to showcase is,shot blocking... Thompson and JB will force him to learn their system - in the end the talent may be more polished at SU or Gtwon but Calipari gets him drafted higher immediately...

Who cares if this kids comes or not... The Orange are stacked again either way... next year's club will be terrific... a top ten club all year
