Agree 100%, I think MCW will finish his career at SU as
one of the top PG ever to play here, I can't wait to watch
him run this club! It's a shame he didn't get to play more
this season but we never seemed to get out in front of
teams enough to bench one of the big three for MCW.
Noel did us a favor by picking UK, if he came here there would have been playing time
issues with DC2 and Keita would have disappeared. We have a nice rotation available
with the players we have, DC2 - Keita and Rak if needed and we know that JB likes to
go with 7-man rotation and we already have 9. BT, MCW, Trevor, James, CJ, Rac, Grant,
DC2 & Keita
Amen.
Let me answer for you, in a word 'YES'. If what is being
said about both Fab and Dion academically is true we
will have a lot of work to do to stay eligible. I hope I'm
wrong but I doubt it.
You're all going to be surprised next Wednesday, nuff said.
A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2013 WHILE IN THE BIG EAST FOLLOWED
BY A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2014 WHILE IN THE ACC, I KEEP
HAVING THIS REOCCURRING DREAM!!!!!! Also, JB would become the
forth coach to reach the Final Four in 4 different decades, would he be
the first to play in a Championship Game in 4 different decades?
It's a mixed bag, we could have used him next year but we need the minutes for
MCW and Trevor. Personally, I think JB used Dion correctly off the bench and allowed
him to maximize his abilities by changing the game when he enters (a la KJ 2009).
As a starter next year he probably would have improved his draft # but you never
can be sure. Good luck and thanks, always a fun ride with talented players!
It appears he's posting under risingsun1 too.
I'm hoping the Post deletes the moron comments above. Jim Boeheim is
SU Basketball and we love him! I would whole-heartedly agree that Charles
Barkley is an idiot, I cringe every time he speaks.
kevin - wrong...if CJ wasn't struggling so much the story would be "What's wrong
with Brandon, he hasn't had a good game in weeks"
Reading this article it's obvious that this guy hasn't really seen SU play or knows
much about them. They haven't blocked out at all this year and their offense tends
to be sporadic. Let's just assume he's a tool and move on.
ln this game James got the ball in good scoring position, in the past he's received the
ball too far out or when he's not set or facing the basket. If the guards and forwards
deliver to James in the right spots there is no doubt he'll deliver.
Exactly! We've all seen it, the SU players just watch the shot. Other than CJ, they
don't look for position or look to block out (the key to rebounding). I think by this
time in the season it would be tough to suddenly change, but if they could they
would be unbeatable!
Tubbs, where are you?
Tubbs - Has anyone considered that Steve might be a woman
hiding behind a male screen name? He sounds more
like a little girl than a man.
WOW! Big time smack-down!!!!!
Mike - I'm wondering, is it possible that Scoop will leave SU as the winningest player
in the history of the program? If not, is the winningest player a single person
or an entire class?
You're right Tubbs, he doesn't know what he's trying to say but he's
right also, he posts it 100 times!
That would be a valid point coming from someone else, but Douche GoTheif lives
to bash SU and would have put us 4 no matter what. He probably wanted to rank
both Kansas and Missouri ahead of us but even he realizes he needs to have a
little credibility.
Correct, the inept management of the league forced SU to make
a move to protect itself.
You're right about both of them, but even when FS is correct I lose
interest before reading the entire post...it's like Charlie Brown's
teacher in the Peanuts Cartoons...wah-wah-wah and so on.
Tubbs - I love the fact that you spank the moron every
time he pops up, keep up the good work.
PS: sewercuse deserves a smackdown also.
Thanks rodo! Great memory!
I agree, nothing will ever beat John Thompson Jr. getting his 3rd 'T' and walking across
the floor to the tunnel with the towel over his shoulder. The crowd was going wild and he
'egged' us on. That was the best day of SU/georgetown ever! That's when I considered
JT Jr. officially closed!
You need help and a life, please get both somewhere far
away from here! Thank you.
It's hard not to look to next year. Maybe a 11 man rotation:
1st line- Brandon, Dion, James, RAK, Fab
2nd line- MCW, Trevor, DC, CJ, Keita
3rd line- Jerami Grant, ?????
Someone has to leave or redshirt again.
Isn't she though!
Excellent point, there wasn't nearly the outcry last year in a tournament
game as there is for this game which isn't single elimination!!!!!
Agreed, I'm just saying maybe it hit the backboard on the 6" +/-
that are below the rim. Again, I'm not actually sure how the rule
works.
Dorkylakerman - Nassib shoudn't have atarted last year and shouldnt
this year either. No fire, not a leader. ABN-anyone but Nassib.
