Miracle Ride 2012

Starting from the Spinning Wheel in North Syracuse on Thompson Rd., hundreds of motorcyclists rode 60 miles from North Syracuse through Madison County and back , all to raise money for Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Last year, ride raised more than $50,000; in the 17 previous years, more than $1 million. Now in its 18th year, ride is billed as the "longest running motorcycle ride supporting pediatric care in Central New York, " according to organizers. Video by Dennis Nett

Car Chase ends in Syracuse Crash

A man who deputies said led police in a high-speed chase down Interstate 81 crashed the car he was driving in Syracuse, struggled with a deputy and was Tasered and handcuffed before starting a foot chase this afternoon in downtown Syracuse.
