I've always thought health care should work like life insurance. I eat right, work out regularly, don't excessively drink, don't do drugs, don't smoke, etc. Why should I pay the same health care premium as some fat slob who drinks a six pack of beer every night with his pizza or McDonald's for dinner?

There are some health issues that the individual can't help because they have no control over them (ie some people are at a high risk for _______ because its heredity). Don't raise premiums for that, but definitely do it for areas where people can control themselves. Then if they choose to live and eat like a pig they can pay for the high health care costs associated with it.

Religion -- the only way to have imaginary friends as an adult and not have the guys in white coats take you away. People fear the unknown. Religion was there to explain the unknown (thunder is god stamping his feet because he is angry). Most of the sham explanations religion gave for "the unknown" have been proven wrong by science. Over the last couple hundred years religion has slowly been proven wrong and now creationism is one of the few things they have left.

Remember when the Earth was flat and the center of the universe? Copernicus was condemned for proving the sun is at the center. Or what about when Galileo was put under house arrest, for the rest of his life!, for publishing a book talking about helocentrism vs geocentricism?

Tell you what why don't the bible thumpers pray for god to answer why creationism is right and evolution is wrong. Lets see how quick your god shows up to answer... I bet scientists prove evolution right first. Are they going to get it right the first try? No. Just like Edison had to try HUNDREDS of times before he got the light bulb right.

The delivery charges have been on the bill for many years. However for many years the delivery charge hasn't been higher than the usage charge. This is just out right wrong.

Rarely do I get the flu, so I don't get a flu shot. One year I thought I'd do it as preemptive move to save possible suffering later.... and I ended up sick from the shot. Yeah I don't think I'll be getting this shot either. Wash your hands, eat & drink healthy, stay active, etc.. and it shouldn't be much of a problem... at least that is how I manage to stay healthy.
