Hot dogs are bad for you. What's the point?
This is about creating a fastfood franchise and making a lot of people obese and making money.
Actually, the race was named after your mother...so I guess that makes your Dad a...
Too much focus and attention is put on the negative, bad news in our community. So much so that it has permeated our entire society to the point of not being able to see the good that people do.
Head our warnings PS, good news can be just as informative and enlightening as the bad news (not to mention less depressing).
If your up by 12 with a 1:20 on the clock, pull your stars before they pull a muscle or tendon.
Full disclosure--nothing less...unless you have something to hide?
This promoter is making a big mistake charging every person for parking (how much of the ticket price is for parking anyway?) and for charging $108 for lawn seats.
Don't these people understand that lawn seats at other area outdoor sheds and ampitheaters go for a 1/2 to a 1/3 of the top ticket price? Now, Billy Joel sold out the Dome in 2006 but the main reason for that was the $35 ticket price (I know it was a one-time only deal but it was a great value).
If you get the people there then the concessionaires can make their money. I would charge the vendors more and lower the ticket price.
My prediction...these dolts offer a 2 for 1 about a week before the event when they realize they might have to either take a bath or cancel the show.
Yes, The Boss has his fee and he must be paid but any smart person in the concert business will tell you this ticket is grossly overpriced.
It's all about politics, cliques and nosy parents trying to micro-manage their child's academic and socail lives.
It's the same wherever you go--West Genny, Skaneateles, J-E, Marcellus...enough already.
The face value of the ticket is $ 108 (do you want to argue that fact?).
Ticketmaster includes their scalping fee, I mean "service charge." Where have you been the last 25-30 years?
$ 108 a ticket for general admission????
That's a hefty price tag. I don't think I'll be going to that one. I can see all of the people trying to lay claim to areas for their friends, etc.
$ 50 - $ 60 would seem fair for lawn seats across the board. I think someone is getting a little greedy.
This band has quite a buzz going in the music community.
When I went to Sound Garden on Saturday for Record Store Day I asked if they had their album and they said they were sold out. That's pretty good for a debut. I am sure they got more in today.
Get in line early my friends if you want Phish for breakfast.
What...huh...are you...whatever!
I went to the sold-out show in Buffalo. It was a good time.
Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang sound incredible but unfortunately Dave is often trying way too hard to hit the high notes.
The new record has 5 or 6 really strong tracks so it's not completely nostalgic campaign..well, for the most part I guess it is but we'll see what happens.
There's nothing nice about a light beer...there, I said it.
Good thing they waited until after the Average White Band played Vernon Downs just two days ago.
FYI - Kenny G is not jazz.; I repeat...not jazz.
Is this latest addition going to be adjacent to the 15,000 seat Clear Channel Arena?
Oh, wait a minute...that's in the NEXT phase of the expansion. My bad!
More evidence convincing me not to believe everything I see or hear in the media. Way to go NBC, going out of your way to help this country and its race relations.
Just as others use the media to demand their pound of flesh, I want someone fired for this...and soon!
You people are scaring me. Please stop...please?
Love him or hate him...his radio show will crush 570 if they end up sharing the same time slot.
Jim knows the area and lives in the area and other idiot does not. If you are going to host a local talk show it's probably a good idea to live in that general area AND be able pronounce the town or area you are talking about.
570 made a big mistake and they know it.
If you listen to the new guy, you're a yahoo.
Academics, we're not tlaking about the game....we're talking about academics...
The NCAA should throw away their rule book, shut the heck up and sit back count the mountains of cash they make from inner city men that want to play a sport and ultimately, maybe make some money for themselves. Then the conferences don't have to inflict punishment on themselves.
Why talk academics anyway, the formula for success is pretty simple: the men play the game for no real pay + ticket, parking, concession, attire, TV contract revenue = a bunch of fat and happy slobs.
Why cause so much grief and worry, let them play, let them play, let them play, let them play........
briangagnier,
Your ignorance shines brightly.
A message has been sent.
Expect more suspensions as other bounty program allegations come to the league office. This isn't the end of it.
As Bill Clinton once said (but never followed through with), "...punishment will be swift, severe and certain."
harrisfa...
That statement sounds awfully libelous to me but I am sure you have facts to back that claim, don't you?
Don't call him up until we get a chance to see him pitch here in Syracuse.
At least the county shackles are off and the Chiefs can start doing things differently than they have in the past.
No more going through the motions with the "same-old-same-old." It's time for the Chief's management to make things happen.
If MCW has an amazing rookie season then the chances of him being around more than two years is unlikely. Keep him in check, give hime some (not a lot) of playing time and ensure that he's around for 3-4 years.
There you go...your welcome!
How many young Chinese lives are ruined in the name of Apple?
Who cares! We just want the latest and greatest and to hell with everything else.
He has put his foot in his mouth one too many times.
WSYR has really got to take a look at themself and ask if it's time to make another change. Why not double-down and find a DJ in Buffalo that could host an afternoon local talk show and mispronounce all of the town's names.
It seems to be working for them in the late afternoon...NOT!
College sports is all money and has nothing to do with competition or the amatuer althlete.
The feds really need to to investigate the business pratices and books of the NCAA and BCS.
But we know that will never happen and I am pretty sure they know it will never happen.
It's the same as the war on drugs--see no evil, hear no evil.
Have you seen the steaks Wal-Mart sells? It's been done.
