Part of the reason St. John's decided to open on the road is that it is closing the regular season with three road games at Worcester, Springfield and Manchester. Made more sense for them to stick around this part of the country, play a couple of road games somewhere relatively nearby, then head home for possibly three.

Regardless, if given the choice I would always take the last three at home. You play all season for home ice in a possible decisive game, I would never give that away.
