OOHHH thats right,,,,,,they don`t have 1,,,neither does cortland county,,oswego county and so on,,so why does everyone think onondaga county taxpayers can aford air 1,,,,after all thru our state tax dollars we already pay for state birds and a large chunk of funding to mercy flight ( which is staffed at all times)

the seeleys are great people who run an honest bussiness,,the state,county ,and town should all step up and help these people out,,they could easily pick up this bussiness and take it anywhere in the country and be as successful,as they are here in syracuse,,lets not loose them

I don`t know anyone involved here,,but after reading soooo many uninformed,,or arm chair quarter backs postings on here , I can only say what happened was tragic at best as a young adult made some bad choices, I won`t even begin to assume i know what he was thinking,,But I do believe the officers did what they had too, in the split seconds they had. And yes they now get to live with it,,and wonder what different outcomes,there could have been, too sit in your comfy , secure homes, and second guess these guys, is totally wrong,plain and simple. first off Ms. Nolan should be fired for writing such an article that incites a fire storm,,,this story doesn`t do anything,,,accept pit one side against the other. Secondly, after the school board just signed the contract for the new supper at 200k plus benies, its clear they are completely out of touch,,had the new super taken a modest starting salary, maybe both of these people could have retained their jobs!! third now that Cumo has dropped his tax cap,,every school district will go hogg wild raising taxes,,and more of us will struggle , harder then ever too pay High Taxes on properties not worth, what they are assessed at. So now,,,its time for some joker too tell me i can move away,,,and yes,,this all means I have no sympathy for anyone inn these types of stories!!

I have to start by saying I agree on capping the supers wages,,as well as lowering many teachers pay as well,,then we need a cap on property taxes,as well as changing who can vote for school budgets,,as the system now,,has non property owners ( hence non tax payers) allowing huge tax increases,when they down own property,,to start with,and its no diff then the teachers in high school that march their high schoolers down to vote on the budgets,WTF`s with that? so now,to counter the we won`t get the best people arguement,simply stated,there is NO mass of teachers or supers quiting or leaving the state,,but,maybe there should be. Now that we`ve helped out the school budgets,,lets start onto senators,,the Gov.,,County Queen,,,all making wayyyy too much and not even coming close to fixing the problems , yet they all seem able to find jobs, for their friends. Norse Energy isn`t the only fox in the hen house,,last week i received a letter from Chesapeak Oil,that my expiring lease has been extented and that no money is forth coming,,Their letter goes on too explain that Gov, Patterson by excutive order extended all leases intil the hydro frack issue is settled, I`ve read the papers 3 times,,and still can`t see where they tell me of any extentions of leases,,but now I have too spend my money to fight these clowns,,sooo my advice is if you don`t have a lease with any oil/gas company,,,,,Do Not sign one
