I think Bard deserves a chance to pitch the season as a starter, work out the kinks, learn on the job and hopefully develop into the No. 2 or even the No. 1 starter his stuff suggests he can be if he can develop more consistency.

The grocery chain with the devoted cult following finally arrived in Massachusetts last fall with the opening of its Northborough store. There were crowds of eager customers, one marriage proposal, and, it turns out some high school students at Algonquin Regional who would go on to help write the script and songs for “Wegmans…The Musical.” Full story »

Oh, Mike, he was also the guy who said Mike Williams (USC, drafted by the Lions) was the only Hall of Famer from the 2005 draft. He said it on draft day. I guess it could still happen.

But, the fact that three Spartans are that highly thought of is pretty impressive for the program.
