What a terrible loss. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you before you went into the Marines. I know that you were gung-ho about your dream of going into battle and nothing in the world would have or could have stopped you. I will be waiting for you with Aunt Carole when you come home to Syracuse and you will always be in my prayers. RIP Marine.

Totally agree with you. This should have been front-page news the day after it happened. And she certainly should be recognized and honored as a true home-town hero! And God bless her for getting involved.
